Lynx Projects

Lynx Projects encompasses our humanitarian and development efforts in crisis regions – with a particular focus on construction-based initiatives that promote safety, education, and long-term stability.

Many of these projects are carried out under challenging conditions and remain undisclosed for security reasons. The examples shown here represent a broader range of missions conducted on the ground.

Our goal is to achieve lasting impact with simple yet effective solutions – delivered directly, with structure and responsibility.

Bethany Church

Located in a conflict zone, the Bethany Church had been attacked multiple times and was nearly destroyed. Only the foundation, a gate, and sections of the outer walls – up to two meters high – remained intact.

As part of our Lynx Projects initiative, the building was expanded and rebuilt. We:

  • enlarged the interior space

  • installed a new ceiling

  • created a walkable rooftop terrace

Today, the church accommodates around 300 adults on the ground floor and approximately 150 children and youth on the rooftop.

Bethany Church now serves not only as a place of worship but also as a temporary school – a safe space for community, education, and hope.

The Door Projects

With the Door Project, we are working to improve the safety of homes and front courtyards in crisis regions.

In many areas, secure doors are either lacking or have been destroyed during attacks. Without proper entry protection, families are left exposed and vulnerable.

Our Contribution:
To date, we have installed 53 new doors. Several hundred more are in planning.

Up until now, all funding has been provided entirely by Schlegel Support. Moving forward, the Door Project will be developed as an independent social initiative – simple, effective, and directly on the ground.

We are currently preparing a fundraising campaign to ensure the project’s long-term sustainability.

Bethany School

The Bethany School is currently in the planning stage. The goal is to create a protected school campus for up to 600 children – a place for education, development, and safety in the heart of a crisis region.

What is planned:

  • Classrooms for general education

  • Specialized rooms for chemistry and physics

  • Workshops for hands-on training in technical and vocational skills

The school aims not only to impart knowledge but also to offer real prospects through practical education.

The project is still in the feasibility study phase due to a lack of financial resources. However, the implementation is already clearly structured and prepared.
